New Features
ActiveImage Protector for Hyper-V with ReZoom
New features and benefits in ActiveImage Protector:
- ActiveImage Protector is the first backup solution to add support for uEFI mother boards / GPT (GUID partition tables) system and boot volumes.
- File Consolidation and Unification Management allows multiple incremental backups (Consolidation) or multiple incremental snap-shots along with the full base image (Unification) to be combined for long term data retention and reduced storage space.
- Throttling options enable users to adjust system resource usage priorities and bandwidth usage to assure AIP’s fast backups don’t interfere with other mission-critical processes.
- Bad Sector Skip is a function that intelligently continues to run backup processing even when unreadable or bad sectors are found. This enables you to backup dying hard drives and restore at least the good sectors and information.
- Architecture Intelligent Restore (AIR) provides for the streamlined restore of images in physical to virtual (P2V) and physical to physical (P2P) environments.
- Disk to Disk Copy enables users to copy volumes and drives from one hard drive to another – even to dissimilar hardware.
- Dual Recovery Environments support the latest service devices and reduced memory usage for fast bare metal recovery (BMR) and disaster recovery (DR). Windows PE 3.1 and PE 2005
